Three-Finger Joystick Controlling My Life
Flying the drone takes three fingers, all simultaneously micro-moving to nail the shot.
Hundreds of feet up and away, this tiny machinery-magic is waiting to capture the moment, if I can skillfully maneuver my fingers just the right way.
The controls are sensitive: too much is too fast, not smooth is unclean, too little and it’s boring.
All three controls need to be perfectly coordinated to produce the final product.
And that’s kind of how life feels, too.
Trying to maneuver independent but dependent personal joysticks of relationships, income and personal alignment to produce the final product.
And today, I might nail it, getting the perfect shot.
But tomorrow, it’s back to it for another shot, though mostly likely it won’t happen perfectly. One of the joysticks just wasn’t as smooth and the money isn’t happening like it’s supposed to.
The next day, the right fingers just didn’t quite hold their weight and the relationships are suffering.
But the next day, it’s a gorgeous clip, everything working so smoothly…
And the next day, the opposite.
But still flying, still working on the controls, trying to get that perfect shot, everyday.
