Haiti Carnival 2019, you coming?

Last year a few of us visited Haiti for Carnival, one of the biggest and most anticipated events in the country.

The best parade and celebration takes place Jacmel, a coastal city about a three hour ride from the capital Port-au-Prince. Over the four night trip jumped off waterfalls, toured the city and watched the parade from a front row balcony (and of course got out into the crowd!)

This year it’s happening February 21-25 anddddd it looks like we’re going back

The Parade happens on Sunday so the trip is a long weekend from Thursday - Monday.

Haiti is one of my favorite places in the world and it’s one hell of an adventure so I think you should come :)
