Finally Bought Hiking Boots
I’ve wanted a bad ass pair of hiking boots for years.
For the last couple of winters, the temp drops, it gets rainy and I look in my closet… nothing but sneakers.
Well, cowboy boots. I have a few pairs and they’re great.
Whenever it rains, I throw on my Red Wing’s or Justin’s and go stomping in puddles.
Makes me feel rowdy, kind of time-traveling me back to the high school days of boots and Wranglers.
But I’ve always wanted the Colorado hiking boots and jeans look.
For years.
And this year, I finally pulled the trigger.
Madison and I were gearing up for Montana and I had nothing for the upcoming mountain hiking in sub-50 degree temperature.
I started looking around and finally settled on a pair of Keen Targhee High’s.
Waterproof. Insulated. High tops. Black, of course.
They turned out great and were a must for the trip.
Though we didn’t end up hiking as much as I wanted to, they worked as I would have hoped… and will keep working.
Rainy and cold in ATX? Perfect.
Winter road trip? Yup.
Mountain ski trip? Mhmmmm
I haven’t bought shoes in a minute so it felt great to pick up a pair AND for me to love them.
And now I can finally rock the hiking boot and jeans look.
