🛶 I'm Open for Business
18 days ago I decided to take a ‘Rona break but then I ended up going back to quarantine.
A lot has changed since then and I’ve changed my mind.
I’m back to doing things, going places and seeing people… starting today.
I’m going to play basketball with friends.
I’m going to swim in The Greenbelt.
I’m going to eat delicious food at rooftop cookouts.
I’m going to take you out kayaking (keep reading to grab a spot 🛶)
I just don’t think that staying home, being afraid of life out there and not enjoying the summer is the route.
First and foremost, it’s for economic purposes.
I believe we’re headed for serious financial repercussions if everything stays closed, the velocity of money stays repressed and unemployment rates continue to rise.
Staying closed outweighs the cost of opening-up imo
Yes, this is a serious situation and this virus is fucked…
For that reason, I’m going to stilllllll be cautious, wearing my mask in the general public, refraining from completely reverting back to pre-Corona life, staying away from crowded areas and washing my hands.
But I’m going to get my hair cut, I’ll probably go get a pedicure, I will for sure go swimming in natural water and I definitely want to take you out kayaking so pick and day and let’s paddle.
